About Us

The Owasso Eighth Grade Center aspires to create well-rounded individuals, by educating mind and body in a positive atmosphere that maximizes individual potential. 

The Owasso Eighth Grade Center was established in 1995 at the site of the former Owasso Junior High School at 13901 E.86th Street North.  The current enrollment is 670 students with a highly qualified faculty and staff of approximately 45.  An Eighth Grade day consists of 4 core classes and 2 electives.  The school offers a wide variety of student organizations and activities in which students may participate.  All Eighth Grade students are required to take the: 

 

       Explore Test given in September
       Oklahoma Writing Test given in February
       Oklahoma State Criterion Reference Test in April
