Hello!  I am Susan Thompson and I teach Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) at the 8th Grade Center.  In 2021-2022, I will begin my 13th year of teaching here and I want you to know that I am very glad to be your teacher!  I have a double major in Family Relations and Child Development (specializing in Family Services) and Vocational Home Economics Education and Community Services from Oklahoma State University...GO POKES!!!!  I have been married for 36 years and have 3 lovely daughters, 3 handsome sons-in-love, 2 stupendous grandson and three precious granddaughters, with a new little grandson on the way!  I LOVE TEACHING and find that the best part of my job is teaching students skills that they can use for the rest of their lives!  I realize that this year is a year of challenges, and am excited about learning right alongside my students as we tackle technology head on!  Let the fun begin!
