Owasso Eighth Grade Center Parents & Guardians,
Due to the increased number of quarantines for both students and staff recently, we have made the determination that the Eighth Grade Center will Pivot to Home (P2H) for the next two weeks (Dec. 7-18). Students will return to in-person learning after Winter Break on Monday, January 4, 2021.
Students will follow the Pivot to Home Schedule. The expectation is for ALL students (even those in quarantine) to follow the schedule and be logged in to the appropriate Google Meet. Classes are still 50 minutes long and all students will have Lunch from 12:00 pm to 12:50 pm. Please review the parent and student expectations during Pivot to Home.
Activities will continue for 8th Grade Students to the extent possible. Many activities have been modified and are using a virtual format. Individual sponsors, coaches, and directors will continue to advise students regarding schedules for activities.
Students receiving special education services will do so as they did during “Pivot to Home” in August and early September.
If students do not have internet access, the school will assist them to meet that need for connectivity. Please contact the front office at 918-272-6274.
As our 8th Grade students Pivot to Home, we want to ensure they have access to free meals from our Child Nutrition team.
Curbside Meal Pick Up: Monday, December 7th
- Location - High School East Campus, South Cafeteria Door (near flagpole)
- Time - 8:30 am to 10:30 am
- Each student will receive 5 days worth of food (5 breakfasts & 5 lunches)
- Parents picking up meals without student(s) will be required to show ID
- No order form required for this date

- Meals must be ordered using the At Home Meals order form, found on owassops.org - Child Nutrition Page, Facebook or text owassomeals to 82257

- Time - 8:30 am to 10:30 am
- Parents picking up meals without student(s) will be required to show ID.
Through this shift to Pivot to Home for the remainder of the first semester, our staff remains committed to the success of our students and will continue to support their progress in light of the circumstances.
