About Your Teacher:
I have been teaching for 5 years, and am certified in Elementary Education, Intermediate Mid-Level Math, and Mild/Moderate Disabilities. I have a Bachelor's degree in education from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. I grew up and graduated from Ponca City, Oklahoma. I moved to Owasso after marrying my husband who works for our family oil companies. We have 4 amazing children that are very active and make me a very proud soccer, futsal, and dance mom! We love to travel together and make lasting memories both out of leisure and for my children's extracurricular activities.
Our Class Goals:
As your classroom teacher it is my top priority to prepare you for high school with the basic fundamentals of algebra and geometry concepts. Nearly all resources you will need to be successful in my class can be found on this page or through my Google Classroom page that each student is assigned to. Google classroom will be essential for each of my classes. Most of what we do in my class will be done digitally using forms of technology that I will assist students with to ensure their success in my class. If every there are any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to me for assistance with any help that is needed.
I will email each student an invitation to our Google Classroom. If you do not receive an email invitation from me and you are in my class please reach out to me and I will get you added. Parents, if you would like to receive notifications of what is going on within our Google Classroom download the Classroom app and send me a quick email with your child's name and hour and I will add you as a parent/guardian within our Google Classroom. Within our Google Classroom students will be able to see daily assignments, ask questions, or leave me comments.
If a student is absent it will be their responsibility to log into Google Classroom, view the daily assignment, and watch the instructional video for the day. This allows students to stay caught up with the class when they have to miss for any given reason. If you have any questions you can reach me through Classroom or by email until 5:00 pm on school days.
